Several weeks ago Barb and I along with neighbors Al and Ann put down deposits on a 14 day cruise in January, 2018. Starting in Buenos Aires, Argentina and ending in Valariso, Chile it included a port in Uruguay, several ports in Argentina and Chile and a visit to Stanley in the Falkland Islands. All was well until I was poking around in the Princess website and found the our ship, the Emerald Princess, made this same trip in February, 2018 and then headed to Los Angeles. A quick conversation with our friends and we decided to try and move the cruise from January to February and then sign up for the Valparaiso to Los Angeles cruise. I spent about 45 minutes on the phone with a Princess rep moving both cruises and deposits and then getting all of us on the second leg. Worked perfect. The Princess rep was outstanding. Not only did everything get moved, but she got us in the same balcony staterooms for both segments. We will stop at two more ports in Chile, two in Peru and one each in Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Mexico. Adding 16 days, we will spend a total of 30 aboard.
Still over a year away, but we all are really looking forward rounding Cape Hore.
